i felt suffocation as i watch it drip drop by drop onto the floor.
i wanted to laugh, but fatigue filled me instead.
time's leaving me, but pain's not.
the knife of reality just keep cutting deeper into me
who was the one that says
'time heals all wounds?'

if this is one of the challenges present in my life
oh please, let it end soon.
it has been dragging on and on
it's a damage that'll lose its cure
time is slipping off my fingers
as though things are getting out of my control

but then
i asked myself again
was that really within my control
or was it
just a matter
i thought i could control?
